"When
we first laid eyes on Sabia she was a bedraggled waif, barely
3 weeks old. Good Samaritans found her on the side of
the road, dehydrated and disoriented. She was shaking and so
covered with fleas, that when they took her to the vet,
they were told that she would have died within a couple
of days if she did not receive treatment.
We
agreed to foster her while we all looked for a loving home
for her and in spite of her appearance and her ears having
been chewed by an animal; it was love at first sight for us. In
the three short days it took to find her a permanent home, Sabia
had captured our hearts and become part of our family… so
much so that when the moment arrived to drop her off at her new
home, we simply could not do it.
It
has been 4 years since the day Sabia entered our lives and
she now shares her life with her potcake brother Mambo, a Bichon
named Burton as well as a cat cousin, Minouche (who allows
us to love and take care of him). Sabia’s gentle nature
and loving spirit continue to enhance our lives and like a
true fairy tale, what started out as a bedraggled waif has
grown into a beautiful and graceful princess.
We were truly the lucky ones the day Sabia crossed our threshold."

can be made happier by adopting a
Potcake, also. Not to mention making a Potcake's life happier
at the same time.
